More than 230 participants are participating over three days and there are about 80 people already "in the circle" at 9 a.m. PACIFIC this morning. </big>

*Phil Good from Vancouver, Canada, from a co-op radio station. The are in Canada's poorest neighbor. A total of 400 volunteer programmers. He has learned to appreciate what's been created over the last 35 years. Many early folks there now work for the CBC. "A lot of people I've met have been involved in similar situations. Contemplate the importance of what you are doing."

*John Hammer, Washington News Council." What is journalism in 2010? It is being redefined. He reflects on the quality of the discussion yesterday.

*Sara Jane Siegfried: She used to work at Boeing, which knew about open-source software. The idea that information is now open source -- extending the beta-test idea to the story itself she really likes.

*Mike Fancher: Yesterday as we sat in tables and talked to each other, the tendence when meeting new people is to share in terms of thoughts you had before and things you've said before. By the end of the evening, his mindset was shifting to waht he was learning from Zack, Lion, Andrew and Michelle. He is now focusing on what he'll be learning. We lead our loves around where we have been and not where we are going.
